KLS Press Licensee Program Requirements

To be considered for the KLS Press Licensing Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Business & Operations

• Maintain an active, registered business ( Sole Proprietorship welcome)
  Operate at least one active sales channel (e.g., website, Etsy, Shopify, approved marketplace)

• Be able to legally sell and distribute products in their stated territory

Reputation & Customer Experience

• Demonstrate a history of satisfactory customer reviews and feedback

• Maintain professional standards for customer service, fulfillment, and communication

• No unresolved or ongoing patterns of customer complaints, chargebacks, or disputes

Licensing & IP Compliance

• Must not be producing, selling, or licensing merchandise for any other intellectual property without a valid, written license

• Must not currently sell or promote unlicensed merchandise for other authors, brands, or intellectual property

• Must demonstrate respect for intellectual property rights and licensing requirements

Product & Quality Standards

• Be capable of producing high-quality products that meet KLS Press standards

• Use reliable production and fulfillment methods

• Comply with all applicable product safety and consumer protection laws

Compliance & Process

• Agree to follow all brand guidelines, trademark usage rules, and approval processes

• Use the required design approval platform (Flowhaven)

• Submit designs, samples, and reports within required timelines

Professional Conduct

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and in a timely manner

• Be open to feedback and required revisions
  Conduct business in a manner that reflects positively on the KLS Press brand

Financial & Reporting

• Submit accurate royalty reports as required

• Remit royalty payments on time

• Maintain transparent and verifiable sales records
